More December

It's so hard to believe that there is just one more day left in 2009! We are eager to see what all 2010 brings us!

The family was here last weekend to celebrate our "Hudson" Christmas. It was great to have them all here at the same time. We had lots of great food and quality time!

I don't really know exactly what's going on here, all I know is that I think this pic is hilarious!

Ken and I were in the kitchen trying to get Sunday brunch ready, when we hear Harper making noises-those you kinda tune out-and soon realized that she was "calling" us. I peeked into the room to discover that she'd climbed into her booster seat and gotten stuck!

I didn't even mention that I took Harper to a pancake breakfast with Santa two weeks ago! Anderson and Natalie went, too, and we had a great time. Harper wasn't so sure about Santa but like the elf!

Bless her heart, she felt so sick this day. She was burning up with fever, so I stripped her down. All she wanted to do was climb into the car-with her snowman (who is as big as she is) and baby dolls-and be pushed around. These smiles must have come after the dose of Tylenol. She is a good sport!

What an amazing year it has been...already! We are so thankful each day to have this precious, sweet baby girl in our life.

Life's A Party

Harper's Birthday isn't until the 24th, but we had a fun party on Saturday. Thanks to our family and friends who came and celebrated Harper's big #1 with us! She really dug into her smash cake-looooved the frosting too!

Playtime

I laugh about getting good pictures these days, because Harper always makes a beeline for me/the camera. She doesn't understand that Mommy can't take focus with a 2 inch depth! I thought these turned out cute anyway! It was one of the days I actually got her to keep a bow in her hair for a while. She was doing good, then one day she just started yanking them out. Now her hair is starting to get in her eyes and she NEEDS to wears one.

Did I say that she is walking a little yet?!!! She took 7 steps at lunch! She got impatient because I wouldn't walk her around, and did this little grunt and stood up like, "Fine. I'll do it myself!" I'm a little biased, but she is adorable!

Look what I can do!

Harper has stood up a few times before, like in the bath tub, but she started standing from a crawl or sitting position this past weekend! She can even take a few steps before she wobbles and sits down. We are about to be even busier at our house!

Harper loves to laugh! She understands so many more things now and gets really tickled when Mommy & Daddy act silly!

Gotta carry the baby doll too!
