BIG plans for tonight!

So I had a Dr.'s appointment at 2:30 today & all went routine---other than it taking TWO hours! I know that isn't so surprising, but still a little ridiculous? :) I have received some good advice from friends that I will be taking this evening: REST! Just me, Shady, Grey's Anatomy and some hardcore sofa time-yes!!! Ken won't know what he's missing! Oh, just got a big ol' kick. Harper must be reminding me that she will be listening too!

Just some more...

Burp away Harper, burp away!

No chance of cold feet here!

Adorable gown from Aunt Kristin

Her first baby doll from Grandmother. The blanket inside is made by Grandmother too!

So I'm a little bored...

Well, bored is hardly the right word...maybe just killing time! What else can I take a picture of-how about me? As I was snapping all of the other pictures I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I think it's funny that I could even squeeze into this shirt-I crack me up! Why I'm sharing this beautiful picture with you all, I'm not sure. Maybe you need a good chuckle, too!

Cute Stuff!

So, I thought that I would share some pictures of cute things that we got as gifts-and the art I did actually hanging above the crib.

The counting pal from "Aunt Natalie"

Harper's little "friends"

Sweet little elephant from Sara & Kevin and precious monogrammed pillow from Mimi

Beautiful stocking handmade by Grandmother

Painting above the crib--now it's all ready!

Is she here YET?!

So, as I've heard they would, the last few weeks are dragging by! I guess that works out just about right...it gives me time to complete some projects. Ken got the stroller put together and then this weekend I did a painting and made a bulletin board for the nursery. I thought I would share some pictures with you. Check it out:

Our snazzy jogging stroller

The painting I did

The little bulletin board I did too!

The changing table...see the cute bird paintings that Kasey did!

Other than that, I've been washing clothes and bedding & trying to figure out where to put it all! It's amazing how much stuff we've accumulated and she isn't even here yet!

I'm doing pretty good, physically, but still having some side pain. I think I've decided that it is just her working around in there! She has moved around all day today. It's so cool to see my belly just bulge out & in! I can tell that she's getting bigger & find it hard to believe that my belly could stretch out any more-but I know it will!

The weather is great! I'm so glad that it has cooled off. I love the crisp feeling of fall in the air! We are going to the Alabama Homecoming game this weekend and I am looking forward to it, and very thankful that Jeff is sending us a parking pass so that I don't have to walk too far! Hopefully I'll have enough energy to partake in the pre-game festivities-possible the parade, and we have friends that have an awesome tailgate tent, so there are lots of fun options!

Well, just 28 days to go! I can't wait until I'm posting pictures of little Harper! There will probably be hundreds! Ha! Best wishes to all!

Roll Tide Broadway Joe!

We got to walk over and meet Joe Namath at halftime! He congratulated me on Harper & wished her all the best! We'll have to tell her all about it one day!

A Family Shower

With Shelia Hudson & Lyndia Phifer

With Aunt Estelle

I had a wonderful time in Iuka, Mississippi with some ladies in my family this past Sunday.  Thought I would share a few pictures. The little cupcakes fashioned into baby rattles were yummy!
