Oh, by the way...

I guess it's time to let you all in on our little secret: The Hamner family is growing! Harper will be a big sister around the first of December. I will definitely have more details and updates to follow, but in the mean time, here is the 10 week ultrasound for you to see. I'll be 16 weeks Thursday, but the next ultrasound won't be until I'm about 21 weeks. We are super excited to welcome a sweet new baby H into the world!

June Days

Harper and I went to see my grandparents last weekend. The garden is huge this year! I snapped a few pics to share. Pa Pa (that's pronounced "Paw-paw" for those of you who have not heard me say it) has beans for days & you should see the tomatoes! They are LOADED! I love getting the grand tour and walking the garden with Pa Pa. Come the 21st, he has 91 years of wisdom to share!

More beans! And squash, and tomatoes...

Holding on tight to swing  alone...

Having more fun swinging with Pa Pa!

Some foot massager thing that Harper was fascinated with!

Sporting her new "Creamsicle" bow (plain ol' peach just won't do!)

Silly face enjoying a popsicle.

I was trying to coax a smile...

All she wanted to do was climb into Daddy's chair. I think this is our new indoor photo spot, so get used to the leather background!

Finally got a little "cheeeeese"!

Memorial Day Weekend

We headed down to the beach for Memorial Day weekend this year. As expected, the traffic was horrific and the beach was packed! Ah, the joys of traveling based on your child's school schedule! Seriously, Harper was great for the trip down and it was good to see the beach packed. I'd been scared the oil spill might have crushed the tourism. The beach was beautiful and the water was clear and calm. We spent as much time in it as we could. I hate to think that the nasty oil could be washing up any moment. I pray that a solution can be found to stop the spill soon.

A special thanks to Ken's parents for letting us stay at the condo, and to my parents for coming along and helping with Harper. We are so blessed that Harper has such wonderful Grandparents!

Taking a snack break from the pool.

Nap time!

The best naps are on the beach!

Posing in her cute dress from Grandmommy & Daddy Ray :)

How old is Harper? One!

In her new big ol' hat!

Sleepy girl at breakfast.

Riding with Garfield at the outlets. She had to stop and ride them all!

She is becoming a carousel junkie! Hee hee

Whew! One decent group pic with no photographer! Go us!

The Birmingham Zoo

We had such a fun time at the zoo a few weeks back. Sorry to just now be uploading some pics, but oh well! Harper loved the animals and being outside all day :)

Feeding the giraffe

She held on soooo tight!

I love how she leans down to look at things like this.

This is a little blurry, but I just love when she smiles like this!

Ice cream break

Looking for the orangutan (sp?).
