Weigh-in Day!

Ken took Harper to weigh-in today. She is a whopping 12 pounds 13 ounces!!! They said that she is doing great & actually a little ahead of the curve on weight gain. Yea Harper! I have also made an attempt to measure her length & she is almost 24 inches long. I can definitely tell it when I'm holding her!

Ken had the day off today, so he let Harper skip daycare & they played outside. Check out her new shades:

Weekend Fun

We made it to see Great-Grandmother Hollis Sunday afternoon.

Harper rocks it with "Fish"

Faux-hawks rule!

Close-up in my hoodie! It was so nice we took a ride in the stroller around the neighborhood.

10 Weeks Old and Ready for Daycare!

Harper was 10 weeks old on Monday and started going to daycare. She spends the morning with Daddy, then he takes her in the afternoon.  So far she's done great! They say she's napping most of the time and that she takes her bottle well from them. Anderson is still in the same class, so he keeps an eye out for her!

At home, Harper continues to be a good baby. She is sleeping better at night, usually one 4 hour stretch.  It's easier now to eat and go right back to sleep. I missed the weigh in day at the beginning of the month, so I'm not sure was she's up to these days but I guess that she's about 13 pounds. She has had a stuffy nose that Daddy keeps "blowing" for her. She hates getting it sucked out, but can breath so much better! Mommy's had a stuffy nose, too. Blah! We are ready for Spring!

Her smiles and coos seem even sweeter now. It's amazing to watch her grow right in front of your eyes. When we got home tonight, I had her kinda on my hip while I tossed some things down. Then I noticed that instead of resting on my shoulder, she was holding her head up looking around! Where is my little bobble head going? :)

I pulled out some new rattles, one of which has a mirror, and she was just smiling and "talking" to the baby in there! Being a mother is absolutely amazing. I'm loving every minute-even the fussy ones!

Loaded up & ready to go!

Playing and Sleeping

Crashed out on Mommy's shoulder with her mouth wide open.

Funny Girl

This is what Harper's hat looked like when we got home. Ken and I were laughing so hard we were crying!
