9 Weeks and counting...
Harper is doing just great! It seems like she changes a little every day. Now she is smiling and "talking" to us. She says "ah-goo" and "ooo", it's so cute! We have been able to get her to take the pacifier at bedtime, but she is still trying to suck on her hand. I try and give her the paci when I catch her sucking away, so maybe she'll learn to like it before her thumb! She's doing so good on her tummy time, lifting her head for a good bit before having to put it down. I think now she is excited to be able to hold her head up!
Uncle Kevin came for a visit & got lots of smiles.
It was pretty on Friday, so we took her for a stroll. Notice the huge mittens that make Mommy feel better! We couldn't find tiny baby mittens, so I got the smallest ones we could find. She will probably be able to wear them next winter!

Clean Baby!
Harper all clean from her bath. I love the little hooded towels on her!
So this is a great example of what Shady is NOT supposed to do. I walked out of the room for a minute while Harper was napping and returned to find this. I snapped a picture then she got a big NO while I was secretly laughing inside! Shady is very protective of Harper, just like any other big sister:)

Waking up from a nap!
Harper was waking up from a nap & couldn't quite get her eyes open yet. It was so cute! Guess she's getting big for this little top-look at that belly sticking out!

Gammy's 90th Birthday
I finally got some pictures from Gammy's Birthday! Thanks LaDonna! It was a wonderful time with family! I was very happy to see the familiar faces and meet some new ones! I will be going back and adding details to the pictures, but I just wanted to go ahead and get them posted. Don't forget you can leave comments by clicking on "comment" at the end of the post. Click in the same place to read the comments that have been left. Feel free to tell any details I leave out, or funny stories from the day!
Lady of the hour, Margaret Hamner, a.k.a Gammy to us! Susan made cute centerpieces with photos of Gammy. She's definitely a looker! :)
